Elemens has opened a Consultant position in Renewable Energy Market & Regulation at its Milan office.
We will consider candidates with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles within Utilities, consulting firms, or research institutes.
The candidate will contribute to coordinating and developing our research and consulting services for companies, institutions, and financial players in the field of renewable energy and electricity markets.
The position and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skills.
Principali attività:
• Develop in-depth analyses of renewable energy asset revenue models.
• Monitor and interpret the evolution of policies, legislation, and regulation in the energy sector, providing strategic advice to clients.
• Identify key issues, develop hypotheses, perform detailed analyses, and synthesize conclusions into actionable recommendations, presenting results to clients.
• Collaborate with team members throughout the entire project life cycle, from resource coordination to idea generation, data analysis, report preparation, and formulation of conclusions.
• Represent analytical results through high-quality data visualization and discuss key messages.
We expect the candidate to:
• Already be familiar with the dynamics of the energy sector (in particular, renewables), economic fundamentals, and investment evaluation.
• Show strong ability to manage significant volumes of data/information and to distill key issues into an effective narrative.
• Handle requests and deadlines with a high degree of autonomy.
• Demonstrate the ability to extract and interpret insights from quantitative data and from complex sector regulation.
• Understand the context in which our clients (energy players or top-tier investors) operate.
• Interact effectively with clients, top managers, and executives.
• Demonstrate full comprehension of legislative/regulatory texts.
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
We will consider candidates with the following qualification
• Knowledge of the energy sector and its characteristics, with particular focus on renewables and energy valorization tools (regulated and market-based).
• At least 3 years of work experience in the sector and/or in consulting, companies, research centers, or institutions related to the field.
• Master’s degree in Economics or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Advanced understanding of legislative/regulatory texts and the underlying political context.
• Energy, initiative, and genuine interest in pursuing a consulting career.
• Open, curious, and creative mindset.
• Excellent command of the full Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Italian native speaker with excellent written and spoken expression.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
