The Ferrero Group inked a ten-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement with Falck Renewables S.p.A. aimed at valorizing the energy produced by two new commissioned PV Plants in Sicily.
Elemens has supported Ferrero in analysing the regulatory and market issues and in identifying the counterparty by arranging and managing a beauty contest with the main operators in the sector.
Andrea Marchisio (Elemens’ Partner): “The two pillars of this PPA are: additionality, which enables the commissioning of a new unsubsidized utility-scale renewable plants, and innovation, the 10-year duration is a horizon never seen before in Italy on Corporate PPAs for 100% additional RES plants. Despite the high competitiveness that RES generation has achieved in Italy, our on-field experience in the sector teaches us how it is uncommon to find such a long-term win-win agreement and the success of this PPA proves the strong commitment of the counterparts to sustainability.”
Il Gruppo Ferrero ha sottoscritto con Falck Renewables S.p.A. un Corporate Power Purchase Agreement della durata di 10 anni per la valorizzazione dell’energia prodotta da due impianti fotovoltaici in Sicilia di nuova realizzazione.
Elemens ha supportato Ferrero nell’analisi degli aspetti regolatori e di mercato e nella realizzazione e gestione del beauty contest con i principali operatori del settore per individuare la controparte.

Nonostante l’elevata competitività che la generazione rinnovabile ha raggiunto in Italia, la nostra esperienza nel settore ci insegna quanto non sia banale trovare un accordo di lungo termine win-win e il successo di questo PPA testimonia il forte committment delle controparti per la sostenibilità.”
