Elemens has opened a position for Junior Business Analyst for Renewable Energy in its Milan office. The candidate will need to support the team in the realisation of analyses addressed to Government, Industry and Finance with reference to renewables, power markets, energy efficiency, electric mobility and hydrogen starting September 2023. We offer an internship period of 6 months, with concrete opportunities to become a permanent member of the team for successful applicants.

Main activities:

• Analysing the evolution of the Italian RES market, with particular focus on the solar, wind and storage segments
• Understanding and representing the current development trends
• Identifying the possible market opportunities
• Monitoring of the evolving policy, legislation and regulation of the energy sector in general and with regards to the segments mentioned before
• Supporting the team in the update of the core analysis tools
• Representing the emerging results or the main figures with a high-quality data representation

During the internship we expect the candidate to:

• Develop high capability to manage significant volumes of data/info and to summarize relevant issues with an effective narrative
• Manage competing demands and deadlines
• Be able to work autonomously as well as in team
• Understand the context in which our clients (high standing energy players or investors) are called to operate
• Relate with clients top managers and executives
• Acquire an advanced knowledge of the dynamics of the energy sector (and, specifically, of the renewables sector), of economic fundamentals and of corporate finance
• Develop a full comprehension of legislative / regulatory texts

We will consider profiles with the following features:

• Relevant Master of Science (Laurea Magistrale) in Economics or in Engineering: graduates or graduating in H2-2023
• Knowledge of the energy sector and its relevant features, familiarity with economic basics and market dynamics
• Basic comprehension of legislative / regulatory texts and of the underlying political scenario
• Open, curious and creative mindset, reluctant to “mantras”, focused on personal growth
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Comfortable in speaking in public and to large groups
• Italian mother tongue with excellent written and oral expression
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
